Hey, I’m Noa

I’m 21 years old, I live in Dresden and became part of the Spectos marketing team this April by studying dual. I’ve always been passionate about travelling and new adventures. Music and the fashion world, with its numerous possibilities for creative expression, have also been among my interests for a long time now.

Let me tell you about my journey and experiences on the way to my current job at Spectos in the following paragraphs. You will see how, as a creative and practical person, I have found the perfect company for the practical part of my marketing management studies.

Theory and practice go hand in hand

After graduating from high school, I went on a self-organized “work and travel” year, during which I got to know my future corporate training partner, Spectos GmbH, without knowing it then. At that time, I worked random jobs, one of them being in the Spectos lettershop. That way, I got to know part of the open-minded and friendly team and made my first contacts with Spectos quality management projects. These experiences were a great and very welcome contrast to my normal service jobs at that time. Following this time period, I began studying business administration full-time. Here I quickly realized two things: marketing and I go together very well, but just studying is too theoretical for me. With my knowledge from the first semester of business studies and the desire to combine theory and practice, I came across the International University of Applied Sciences Dresden. Since the university was known for its dual study programs and my newfound interest in marketing, the decision for a dual marketing management study program was quickly made. Luckily for me, I came across a well-known name in my search for a possible corporate training partner: Spectos Dresden was  looking for support in its marketing department.

From the lecture to the marketing department

From now on, I will combine theory and practice in a shift model: on Thursdays and Fridays I will be at the university for lectures and project work. From Mondays to Wednesdays I will then consolidate my knowledge in a variety of tasks and projects for Spectos. The impressions from my first contacts are the main reasons why I decided to work for Spectos GmbH. All of them have now been more than confirmed in the course of the first few weeks. I got to know a productive and ambitious working environment in which great value is placed on communication and employee satisfaction. From now on, part of my tasks will be to regularly report on my activities within Spectos GmbH on their corporate website and LinkedIn.
