At Spectos, it’s the people behind the scenes who make our projects thrive. Today, we’re excited to introduce Leanne Stokes, Senior Panel Specialist (Deputy), who brings curiosity, adaptability, and a decade of hands-on experience to the team.
An Unexpected Career Path
Originally from Australia, Leanne holds a Bachelor of Arts in social justice and public advocacy, and began her career in youth work. “To be honest, I fell on this by chance,” she says. “I moved here from Australia to be with my partner and this was my first job in the UK.”
Although Leanne has been part of the Spectos family for just over two years, her experience with the Royal Mail project spans more than a decade. She originally joined the project through a previous organization and transitioned to Spectos when the contract moved over – bringing with her years of insight and dedication.
“I’ve been on the Royal Mail project for 11 years now,” Leanne shares. “At Spectos, I manage the performance of both private and business panels and handle all communication for the mailagents, from app release text to newsletters.”
Always Something New
What keeps Leanne excited about her work is the variety – and the opportunity to keep improving.
“I love that no day is the same. Our panellists often challenge us with feedback that helps us think outside the box. That pushes us to improve not only the user experience but also the broader measurement process. I love that kind of challenge and being able to improve areas of our projects.”
A Fun Fact About Leanne
Outside of work, Leanne’s love for speed might surprise you. “When I was a teenager, I used to help in the pit crew for a rally team,” she laughs. “I even tried out for the navigator role, but my lefts and rights weren’t quite fast enough!”

“Nothing ever feels like a problem – we figure things out together. It is such a great team environment where you feel supported, appreciated and nothing is ever too much. I really do love working here!” She adds, “The transition to Spectos was smooth, and I’ve truly flourished since joining the company. It’s rewarding to be part of something that’s constantly evolving.”
