Status quo and service demands: what consumers expect from e-commerce retailers and postal service providers
From Black Friday through December 18, 2020, Spectos surveyed participants of its market research panel for their opinions on topics related to online shopping and parcel services. Almost 2.000 people took part in this year’s survey. The 28 questions address recurring themes from the previous year, such as order frequency, the relevance of shipment tracking, and important service details in delivery and return shipping.
In addition, the E-Commerce Monitor 2021 takes into account current trends and developments. For example, users were asked whether the coronavirus pandemic had caused a change in shopping behavior and what delivery times they are willing to accept. Users were also questioned about sustainability in packaging and delivery logistics – the answers reveal some interesting findings!
The results of the Germany-wide online survey are likely to provide companies from the postal, logistics and e-commerce industries with informative insights into online shopping behavior and last mile delivery. If you are interested in the findings, we will be glad to provide you with the survey results free of charge!
